Why GTH versus regular green tea?
greenteaHAWAII is a concentrate of green tea antioxidants, so each serving offers you MORE antioxidants than a regular cup of green tea. Also we have added the Noni fruit, L-theanine and a GREAT (non-green tea) taste! If you don’t like the taste of regular green tea, then you will LOVE the taste of at least one of our many greenteaHAWAII flavors. We have a great variety of flavors. The energy is noticeable and quick, and the benefits from more antioxidants and Noni have been life changing for many of our customers! Within as little as a week to a month, many customers have returned to tell us that their blood sugar levels (A1C scores), lab work, or pain levels have all changed for the better, even just drinking one pixie a day! Oh, and many have told us that they’ve lost about 6-10 pounds per month and keeping it off!
What is Noni fruit?
For years the Hawaiians have used the Noni fruit and drank the juice as an elixir to improve their health. What some people don’t know is that Noni fruit juice has a strong taste that only a few can brave (or tolerate) in the name of ‘health’! Some of us less adventurous, prefer noni in the powder form. We use all parts of the plant in our tea. Like EGCG, Noni contains antioxidants. Noni is also a natural anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, and detoxifier. The results equals more natural goodness!
How many can I drink a day?
On average, people drink 2 a day, but some have been known to drink 5-6 per day to replace their coffee or energy drink as they try to reduce their caffeine intake. greenteaHAWAII has about a third of the amount of caffeine, when compared to the same size cup of coffee. greenteaHAWAII is a much healthier and safer option. However, there is no need to drink more than 2 pixies a day, unless you need an extra ‘natural energy’ boost without the jitters!
Are the ingredients non-GMO?
Yes! All the ingredients used in greenteaHAWAII are non-GMO, gluten free and vegan.
Can I mix it up the night before?
No! After 3 hours of exposure to water, the antioxidants in greenteaHAWAII begin to oxidize. Please mix and drink your greenteaHAWAII when you are ready to drink it. The fact is that all pre-mixed green tea drinks in the stores have no antioxidants from green tea at all. So make it fresh with greenteaHAWAII and drink it to reap all the health benefits.
Does it help with energy?
Absolutely! It is a healthy energy drink with sustained attention and focus from L- theanine vs. high amounts of caffeine. greenteaHAWAII still has 60mg of caffeine per 16 ounce serving, but because of the L- theanine you won’t notice any jitters or a crash later on like coffee and many energy drinks produce.
Is it safe for children?
If your child drinks any caffeinated beverages, then greenteaHAWAII would be a great alternative. It only has 60mg of natural caffeine, which is equivalent to 1/3 of a similar sized coffee would have. If your children are younger or you want them to have a non-caffeinated option, we have our Keiki Edition, which has electrolytes, vitamin C, green tea extract and Noni fruit. It does not contain any caffeine. Many adults love our Keiki Edition as well.
What about when I am pregnant or nursing?
greenteaHAWAII should not be consumed during the first trimester, as many physicians recommend a specific supplement regimen. After the first trimester, it is typically ok for you to drink greenteaHAWAII as long as your physician says it’s ok for you to have any caffeinated drinks. Drinking greenteaHAWAII is not a problem for breastfeeding moms, as long as your physician has said it’s ok for you to have caffeine. Please be sure to consult with your physician before drinking greenteaHAWAII.
What is the shelf life of greenteaHAWAII? What if the product in the pixie is hardened? Is it still good?
greenteaHAWAII will last for 3 years as long as you don’t over expose it to heat and moisture. Be sure to not leave the pixies sitting in your car on hot days.
